My Process
Step 1 – Mineral-Rich Apple Cider Vinegar Infusion
I begin by steeping nettle, oatstraw, dandelion leaf, raspberry leaf, and lemon balm in raw apple cider vinegar. This process gently pulls out water-soluble minerals—especially magnesium—while the acetic acid helps make them more bioavailable for your body to absorb and use. This becomes the mineral-rich foundation of the tonic.
 
Step 2 – Alcohol-Based Nervine Tincture
Next, I add my signature Lights Out formula—skullcap, passionflower, and catnip—extracted in alcohol to draw out their powerful nervine and sedative compounds. These herbs work synergistically to calm racing thoughts, relax tense muscles, and prepare the body for sleep.
 
Why Dual Extraction Matters
Herbs contain both water-soluble nutrients and alcohol-soluble plant compounds. By using two different extraction methods and combining them, this tonic captures the full spectrum of benefits—from grounding minerals to soothing nervine alkaloids—so your body and mind can truly unwind.
 
How to Use
Shake well before each use. Take 20–30 drops in a small amount of water, tea, or juice about 30–60 minutes before bed. Apple cider vinegar can have a strong taste, so mixing it with your favorite evening drink helps make it more enjoyable.
